Interesting little fact about the origin of scarves:
Ancient Rome is one of the first origins of the scarf, where it was not used to keep warm, but to keep clean. It was called the sudarium, which translates from Latin To English as "sweat cloth," and was used to wipe the sweat from the neck and face in hot weather. They were originally worn by men around their neck or tied to their belt . Soon women started using the scarves, which were made of cloth and not made of wool or silk, and ever since the scarf has been fashionable between both women and men.

Piet Parra
Dutch artist Parra (1976) is best known for his curved post-Pop imagery,
highly saturated colours, vibrant hand-drawn letters and worlds inhabited by
hybrid, surreal characters. Celebrated by galleries and championed by
an underground following from the outset, Parra has quickly become
a respected and eclectic artist worldwide. Working across drawing,
painting, animation and sculpture, Parra creates an enigmatic and instantly
recognisable style that defies easy categorisation. Parra is cofounder of
cult apparel label Rockwell Clothing and a member of electronic music
group Le Le. Parra Lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

This is what we regard as staple gear. Not everyone has these items, but its a must that you room has something of this kind in order to enhance your lifestyle.
The backpack. In these heavy winters and constant meetings, the backpack serves up more cool than the briefcase. Make sure to keep it clean and tidy if you a business minded person otherwise you can create art through pins and some stickers.
The most important musical device created since music its self. It has twisted the way we consume music. The ipod is a must have for any guy.
The All Star converse in high top or low, is a must for any guy. The variety of colors means you choose to be yourself and the color of the sneaker will tell the rest of the tale.
The high top sneaker. Not really this Nike SB blazer. This sneaker has become an integral part of a mens wardrobe. It can be dressed up or down.
Jean to Jean is one of the cleanest look a guy can do. This is always neat a great representation of the 21st century guy that takes influence from the past.

This Sunday
After the much hyped June session, Thesis Social Jam Session is back to keep up the momentum with fresh talent that is leading the way in the alternative sound scope. This session also sees the first JHB show for the girls from Cape Town, a return of a legend of the streets and new rhythm and beats from a duo that is pioneering their own sound.

So the beast that is Max Mogale took snaps of the Doepel ladies and Dirty Paraffin who are currently putting the final touches to their eagerly awaited EP.
Both these creative duo's will be performing at the Jam session this Sunday.
